Stan Lomas
Co-Founder, Co-Chief Investment Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Stan co-founded Wesvel and co-leads its investment activity alongside running the firm’s finance, structuring and fund operations. He is responsible for the vehicles through which investors access the strategies, the special purpose vehicles that hold single positions, and the treasury and banking relationships that settle the book.
He brings four decades of international finance to the role. Since 1983 he has raised cash equity for development projects, and in recent years has established companies and served as trustee for international clients from the Cayman Islands and The Bahamas, where he has lived and built businesses.
That experience gives Wesvel deep, practical expertise in international banking, offshore trust structures, and the anti-money-laundering, know-your-customer and compliance regimes that institutional vehicles operate under.
